OVERVIEWTijuana is a 2018 Netflix series about journalists confronting local drug lords. The ask was to design the title sequence for Tijuana, capture the tension between truth and power in a single visual language.








We turned symbolic objects into the main characters—tools of journalism colliding with signs of crime. A pen nib becomes a camera lens. A pill morphs into a delete key. Bars turn into a paper shredder. Each transformation connects through sharp graphic matches, creating a seamless flow.

The result is visual play that mirrors wordplay, weaving journalism and crime into one striking narrative thread.
